About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Kydella LLC (“Kydella,” “we” or “us”), a company based in Atlanta, Georgia. They apply when you use our website (kydella.com). By using our site, you agree to them. Our Privacy policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy are part of these terms, so please read them too.

Health information on this website

  • Not medical advice. Everything on our site, including our articles, eligibility check, its results and our emails, is general information for education. It isn’t medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription or a treatment plan. Using our site doesn’t create a doctor–patient relationship with anyone, including Dr. Tina.
  • The eligibility check is a guide only. It can’t check what you enter, and only a clinician who knows your health can decide whether a medicine is right for you.
  • Emergencies. Our site and our care aren’t for emergencies. Call 911 for chest pain, trouble breathing or swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat. If you’re thinking of harming yourself, call or text 988. See all the warning signs.

Our care, prescriptions and medicines

  • If you sign up for care, Dr. Tina’s medical practice provides it through a secure telehealth platform, under the practice’s own terms, telehealth consent and notice of privacy practices, which you’ll see and agree to there.
  • Dr. Tina can care for you only while you’re in a state where she’s licensed: Georgia or California, for now. Her care is for adults 18 and over.
  • Dr. Tina decides whether to prescribe a medicine, and which one, using her own medical judgment. Signing up or paying for care doesn’t guarantee a prescription.
  • If she prescribes a medicine, a licensed pharmacy fills it under its own terms and prices, and you pay the pharmacy directly. Kydella doesn’t sell medicines.

Prices

We show Dr. Tina’s monthly fee, and the self-pay prices pharmacies and labs publish, to help you plan, with the date we last checked them. Pharmacies and labs set and change their own prices. The price you pay is the one shown when you pay on the telehealth platform, at the pharmacy or at the lab.

Using our site

Please use our site lawfully and respectfully. Don’t:

  • break the law or violate anyone else’s rights;
  • try to get into systems or parts of the site you’re not allowed to; or
  • interfere with the site, for example with viruses, bots or scrapers, or by overloading it.

We may limit or block access for anyone who does.

Our content

The Kydella name and logo, and the words, images, illustrations, eligibility check and other content on our site, belong to Kydella or to people who license them to us. They’re protected by law. You’re welcome to view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, change or republish our content for any other purpose without our written permission.

Other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as the telehealth platform, pharmacies, labs and the studies our articles cite. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep our site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be complete, error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, our website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Some states don’t allow these disclaimers, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be changed by agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kydella won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of our website. Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. These terms don’t limit any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, and they don’t cover the medical care you receive, which the practice’s own terms govern.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Georgia, USA, govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern, please email us first. Most problems can be solved quickly.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

General

If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, together with the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and Kydella about using our website.
