The short version
- On a website about GLP-1 medicines, some information can say something about your health, like signing up for our newsletter. This policy explains how we handle it.
- We never ask you to send us health details on this website. Our eligibility check runs only in your browser and never sends your answers to us or anyone else.
- Your medical care, and the health information it needs, happens on Dr. Tina’s telehealth platform, under the practice’s own notice of privacy practices, not this policy.
- We use what we have only to give you what you asked for, like our newsletter or a reply to your email.
- We share it only with our website host and our email providers. We never sell it, and we never use it for ads.
- You can ask to see it or delete it, or take back your consent, at any time.

What this policy covers
Some information can say something about your health, even if you never tell us about it. Being on the mailing list of a GLP-1 care program is one example. Some state laws call this “consumer health data” and give you extra rights over it.
This policy explains what consumer health data we may collect on our website (kydella.com) and in our emails, why, who receives it and how to use your rights. In it, “Kydella,” “we” and “us” mean Kydella LLC, which runs our website. Our Privacy policy covers the rest of the information we handle.
It doesn’t cover your medical care. Dr. Tina’s practice provides that through a secure telehealth platform, and the practice’s notice of privacy practices covers the health information you share there.
What we may collect
We don’t ask for health information. But some of what we handle could say something about your health:
- Your newsletter signup. If you sign up, we get your email address. Our newsletter is about GLP-1 medicines and weight care, so being on our list could suggest an interest in them.
- What you tell us. Anything about your health that you choose to mention when you email us. Please don’t send us health details: we can’t give medical advice by email. If you’re a patient, message Dr. Tina through the patient portal instead.
- Technical details. Your IP address and browser type, which our hosting providers record in server logs each time your browser loads a page or picture from our site. These logs could show that someone visited our eligibility check, our Pricing page or a health article. They never include your answers.
What we never collect
- Your answers to our eligibility check, including your height, weight and BMI. The check runs entirely in your browser. It doesn’t save your answers or your result, and it doesn’t send them to us or anyone else.
- Your health history, medicines or test results. We never ask you to send them to us on this website.
- Your precise location.
Where it comes from
- From you, when you sign up for our newsletter or email us.
- From your browser, automatically, when you visit our site. These are the technical details above.
How we use it
We use it only to give you what you asked for:
- to send you our newsletter, if you signed up; and
- to answer your messages.
As the law allows, we also use it to keep our site and your information secure, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the records the law requires.
We don’t use it for advertising. We don’t use what you read on our site to guess things about your health.
Who receives it
We share it only with the companies that help us give you what you asked for. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job:
- Our hosting providers. Kinsta hosts our website and keeps its server logs. Cloudflare protects our site and delivers its pages, so your visits pass through it.
- Our email service providers, which run our support inbox and send our newsletter. They get your email address and the emails we send each other.
We may also share it:
- when the law requires it, such as to respond to a valid court order;
- to prevent fraud or other illegal activity;
- with our accountants and lawyers, who must keep it confidential, when they need it to advise us; and
- if Kydella is sold or merged with another company, as part of that deal. The new owner would have to protect it the way this policy says.
We never sell your consumer health data, and we never share it for advertising.
How we handle and protect it
- Our mailing list and emails are stored by our email service providers. Server logs are kept by our hosting providers in the United States. Our website doesn’t keep a copy of newsletter signups.
- Only the people at Kydella who need your information to answer you or send our newsletter can see it.
- Our site uses encryption (HTTPS) to protect information as it travels between your browser and our site.
- We keep it only as long as we need it. Our Privacy policy explains how long.
No geofencing or cross-site tracking
- No geofencing. Geofencing draws a virtual boundary around a place, such as a clinic, to find, track or send messages to the people inside it. We don’t use it, and we don’t collect your precise location.
- No tracking across websites. Our site has no ad or analytics trackers. We don’t let other companies use our site to follow you over time or across other websites. Cloudflare collects some details about your visit for security, to tell people apart from bots.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm and give you a copy. Tell you whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data (we never sell it), and give you a copy of it.
- List who received it. Give you a list of every company we’ve shared it with, and an email address or website you can use to contact each one.
- Correct it, if it’s wrong.
- Delete it. We’ll delete it from our records, including our backups, and tell every company we’ve shared it with to delete it too. If another law requires us to keep something, we’ll tell you what we kept and why.
- Stop collecting or sharing it, or take back your consent. If you’ve agreed to something, like getting our newsletter, you can change your mind at any time.
We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
How to use your rights
Email support@kydella.com with “Health data request” in the subject line, and tell us what you’d like us to do. It’s free.
- Checking it’s you. To protect your information, we need to make sure the request comes from you. We’ll ask only for what we need to do that, such as writing from the email address you used with us. Someone you trust can also make a request for you. We may ask for proof that you’ve said they can.
- When we’ll answer. Within 45 days of getting your request. If we need more time, we’ll tell you why within those 45 days, and we can take up to 45 more days. Deleting copies from backups can take longer, up to six months.
- Appeals. If we turn down your request, in whole or in part, you can ask us to reconsider. Reply to our answer with “Appeal” in the subject line. We’ll answer in writing within 45 days and explain our decision. If we still say no, we’ll tell you how to contact your state’s attorney general to file a complaint.
For information in your medical record, contact Dr. Tina’s practice through the patient portal.

- The consumer health data rules in the Connecticut Data Privacy Act
We follow this policy for everyone who uses our site, wherever you live.
Changes to this policy
This policy took effect on the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we change it, we’ll post the new version here and update that date. If we make a big change, we’ll also point it out on our site. We won’t collect new kinds of consumer health data, or use or share it for new purposes, without telling you first and, where the law requires it, getting your consent.
